Oh Brother

Bella wants a brother or sister! She told us so last night.

It was so cute and to hear that coming from her was just incredible. Jenn and I were just talking again about what an incredible miracle Bella is. It’s almost unbelievable. We remember back to the pain of every day waking up and Jenn not being pregnant, consumed by the thoughts of having a family. It has become a distant memory but all those feelings quickly come flooding back when we reminisce.

Dealing with infertility is like dealing with grief. It is a grief that no one else quite understands. It is emotional exhaustion, intense pain, and complete isolation.

Admittedly, this next cycle for Bella’s brother or sister will be a bit easier emotionally for us. We now wake up every day and look at that beautiful face!
